Supplying over 3,000 pubs, clubs and hotels throughout Scotland.
Allson Wholesale was incorporated over 30 years ago as a producer and distributor of consumables for the home fizzy drinks machine.
From humble beginnings; (one employee, one van, and a 2,000 ft2 warehouse) we have continued to evolve and improve into the impressive company we are today.
- We now operate from our new 96,000 ft2 warehouse.
- We have 15 field sales representatives covering virtually all of Scotland.
- We employ a dedicated and professional team of telesales operators.
- We employ our own “in-house” technical services department.
- We have a specialised “temporary bar” team, supplying dispense solutions for event catering and stadia.
- We have an events and concessions division who work hand in hand with events organisers, festivals, sporting occasions, and outside catering.
- We have a ship supply division supplying an increasing amount of cruise lines and ferries.
We are not finished yet however, we have several new projects underway, and we expect to make some exciting announcements very soon!!
Our story so far...
1984
Allson's established as a traditional wholesaler at Banbeath Industrial Estate, Leven, Fife. Commenced business with one employee, one van and a small 2'000 sqft unit.
1990
Between the years of 1984 to 1989 we grew in size! Allson's doubled the operating space to 4'000 sqft unit.
1994
In the space of 4 years we increased again! Our warehouse grew to 6'000 sqft.
1998
Another quick 4 years passed while the business was growing Allson's took the decision to yet again increase the warehouse to 8'000 sqft. Just 14 years after starting.
1999
We moved locations! Allson's was then located to Station Road, Buckhaven, Fife with the warehouse doubling it's size again to 16'000 sqft and from there Allson's kept growing.
2016
While Allson's had very much blossomed and grew not just as a wholesaler but as a business. We moved again! 17 years at Buckhaven and we needed more space! Moving to Telford Road, Glenrothes, Fife while the warehouse is a massive 50'000 sqft!
2020
Covid19 hit! Business's closed and the world came to a hault.
2021
Covid19 Recovery begins.
2022
Buiness returns to 85% of pre Covid turnover. Finally coming out the otherside intact!
2023
Current, Recovery from Covid19 continues. We Propose to make our warehouse greener and more efficient and plan to insulate our whole warehouse, install solar roof panels and renew delivery fleet to be cleaner and more economical.
